I am happy to welcome you to Oakland Elementary School. Our school has been providing quality education to the Oakland community for many years, and it is our goal to continue school renewal and evaluation. Our experienced staff of teachers is dedicated to providing every child with the best educational opportunity possible. Our school has been recognized as a national "Blue Ribbon" school and Title I School of Distinction. Many special services supplement our regular school program. They include: library services, guidance services, music program, physical education, art, remedial reading and math, Title I aide assistance, resource teacher, talented and gifted resource program, speech therapy, and language development.

We realize the importance of developing in each child an attitude of self-respect and self-worth. We try to provide a variety of opportunities for pupils to form meaningful and responsible relationships.
